Evidence integrity review
Evidence Digest
Study-level digest cards remain withdrawn while their identifiers, interventions, outcomes, and evidence labels are re-audited against the underlying publications.
Verified editorial editions can still publish on the biweekly cadence when they do not depend on unresolved study-level claims. The quality gate is intentionally stricter than the publishing schedule.

Verified editions
Publish only what clears the evidence gate
Every edition should save the reader time by explaining one evidence or safety decision clearly, linking to the underlying site resources, and keeping uncertainty visible.

Evidence Digest: Four Checks Before You Trust a Supplement Claim
A practical evidence-literacy edition covering study type, ingredient form, dose relevance, and safety context without relying on unverified study cards.

- Every PMID or DOI must resolve to the study described on the card.
- Ingredient form, dose, duration, population, comparator, and sample size must match the publication.
- Outcome language must distinguish statistical findings from clinically meaningful effects.
- Limitations and conflicts of interest must stay visible when they affect interpretation.
- Evidence labels must reflect the broader body of evidence, not the existence of one positive trial.

These sections remain available while the digest is rebuilt. Individual pages can still change as new research is reviewed, so check their citations and last-reviewed context rather than treating any label as permanent.

Learning context
How this concept connects to supplement decisions
The Evidence Digest is being rebuilt around source-verified human research. Verified editorial editions remain available while study-level cards are… Learning pages explain the reasoning layer behind the herb and compound library. They are designed to make mechanisms, evidence quality, safety tradeoffs, and product claims easier to interpret.
Use Evidence Digest to build better questions before choosing a supplement: what outcome is being targeted, what mechanism is claimed, what human evidence exists, what dose was studied, and what risks could change the answer for a specific person?
Mechanistic plausibility is useful, but it should be weighed against trial design, safety history, product quality, and the possibility that a simpler intervention may be more appropriate.
