Why the acute-study shortcut fails
A meal experiment is not a personalized diabetes protocol
The classic 2004 study is useful evidence that vinegar can change the glucose/insulin response to a high-carbohydrate meal in selected participants [4]. It is not evidence that every person with insulin resistance should consume a fixed amount before every carbohydrate-containing meal.
